Hi, I’m Ruben.
I’m a teacher, coach, and photographer with a genuine passion for helping people grow—whether that’s in the classroom, on the basketball court, or in front of the camera.
I’ve spent many years involved in basketball as both a player and coach, working with athletes across a range of ages and skill levels. My approach is built around developing strong fundamentals, improving decision-making, and creating an environment where athletes feel confident to learn, make mistakes, and improve. I believe the best development happens when players are engaged, challenged, and supported.
Alongside coaching, I’m also a primary school teacher. Teaching has shaped the way I coach and connect with people—focusing on clear communication, building relationships, and helping individuals reach their potential in a way that works for them.
Photography is another extension of that same passion. I specialise in sports and portrait photography, capturing genuine moments, personality, and the energy of the game. Whether it’s an athlete in action or a posed portrait, my goal is to create images that feel authentic, powerful, and meaningful.
